Admissions & Registration
Harmony Public Charter School’s admission policies reflect our vision and mission to build an Africentric learning community. Students are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for Kindergarten through Grade 6. Should enrollment exceed available spaces, registrations will be placed on our waitlist and admitted according to the following official priority criteria:
- Students with siblings currently attending the school or who have previously graduated.
- Children of school employees.
- First-come, first-serve to all other students.
Note: Students may be assessed during the application process to consider the best grade placement or tailored support program.
School Calendar
Following the school calendar allows students and families to plan ahead, stay organized, and make the most of all academic and extracurricular opportunities.
As dates and events may change during the year, students and families are encouraged to check the calendar regularly or contact the school office for the latest updates.
School Fees & Payments
While we are committed to reducing economic barriers for families, certain optional activities, materials, extracurriculars, or extended programs may involve fees. Any applicable payments must be completed through the designated payment methods provided by the school.
Uniform Guidelines
Following the uniform guidelines helps students feel part of the school community, promotes equality, and supports a focused learning environment.
As uniform requirements may be updated during the school year, students and families are encouraged to check with the school office regularly for the latest information.
Health & Safety
Following health and safety practices helps students learn and grow in a secure environment while promoting a culture of care and responsibility within the school community.
As health and safety policies may be updated throughout the year, students and families are encouraged to check with the school office regularly for the most current information.
